Job Description

Do you have experience in territory sales to a business/commercial customer base?

Are you used to working to, and achieving, sales activity related targets and KPIs?

Are you a UK licenced driver, living in the North West area?


This is a great opportunity to join the Sales team of an established national company providing industrial and commercial hygiene compliance and cleaning services.


What does the role offer? (Earnings/Benefits):


  • Annual earnings circa £25k-£30k+
  • Permanent, full time role
  • Predominantly home-based, with attendance a customer and company sites as required
  • Workplace pension scheme – company % contribution increasing over time
  • Bonus scheme (profit share)

  • Company Mobile phone and laptop (and home-working resources)
  • Estimating/Surveying resources provided
  • 28 days paid holiday (20 days plus bank holidays) per annum

The Candidate:


  • Friendly, professional and customer-focused attitude
  • Sociable, self-motivated and target driven individual
  • Proven experience in the territory sales of services and/or products to a client base of businesses and institutions, relating to the hygiene and safety of their premises e.g. retail, office, leisure (restaurants/bars), colleges/schools etc.
  • Good computer literacy and good numeracy
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Driver with full UK licence
  • Living in the North West area
  • With existing home-office or room to accommodate


The Role:




Within your appointed territory, gaining new and repeat business, maintaining customer confidence in the company’s services and promoting an image of professionalism and expertise within the marketplace.




  • Achievement of KPIs around lead generation, sales calls, meetings, quotes, orders and invoicing.
  • Maintain and update CRM regarding the above
  • Planning and organising sales activity efficiently, including regular contact with prospects
  • Working to achieve (and if possible exceed) sales, quotation and margin targets
  • Maintain a good working knowledge of products and services
  • Undertaking site surveys and producing accurate quotations accordingly
  • Liaise with colleagues to ensure service delivery is compliant and meets customer expectations
  • Attend Monthly and Quarterly Sales meetings
