Job Description

Are you a skilled projects administrator looking for your next role? Our client is an innovative manufacturing company with a world class team and state of the art facilities.

This is a full time, permanent role offering a salary of £25,000 - £30,000 dependent on experience. Working hours are 0800 – 1700 Monday - Thursday and 07:30 – 14:00 on a Friday.  

Your role will be to plan, execute and deliver manufacturing projects according to strict deadlines and within company margins. This includes coordinating the efforts of the manufacturing team and its partners.

 

The successful applicant:

  • Experience in a similar manufacturing role is preferable.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail and reliability.
  • Proactive and innovative.
  • To work effectively on your own and as part of a team, with a positive 'can-do’ attitude.
  • The ability to prioritise workload.
  • The ability to work well and accurately in a time-constrained and pressured environment.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must possess a current clean driving license.

 

Role responsibilities:

  • Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and customers.
  • Develop full scale project plans and associated communication documents.
  • Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and customers in a timely and clear fashion.
  • Liaise with projects on an ongoing basis.
  • Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
  • Draft and submit budget proposals, sales forecasts, estimates, quotations, and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary.
  • Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and customers.
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.
  • Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the projects team.
  • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
  • Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
  • Track project milestones and deliverables.
  • Develop and deliver progress reports, quotations, proposals, documentation and presentations.
  • Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyse results and troubleshoot problem areas.
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
  • Build, develop and grow business relationships vital to the success of the company.
