Job Description

We are representing one of the UK's most well-respected membership organisations in the search for an experienced Product Development Executive with a track record of successfully working in a relevant customer service or product development environment.

 

This exciting opportunity reports into the Product Delivery Manager and carries responsibility for ensuring the development and delivery of the learning, events, and compliance products for the organisation UK wide.

Main purpose of the role and key tasks:

  • Collate and analyse member feedback required to identify changing member needs.
  • Deliver product development ideas and deliver them in ways which ensure the organisation is member-centric.
  • Deliver an ongoing product development plan aligned to the purpose of the organisation, maximising customer service and internal efficiency. This plan should include but not be limited to, product relevance and member need gap analysis
  • The role requires close working relationships both with internal departments, and external industry representatives or suppliers, to ensure that the product and services range remains up to date and fit for purpose.
  • To provide detailed and accurate management information and reports on progress to the Director of Operations

 

The successful candidate will have:

  • Proven success of working in a customer service or service product development function
  • High attention to detail to ensure maximum efficiency and the best customer journey is maintained or created
  • A cross-functional team working ethos is essential in order to meet the needs of internal and external customers
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. This should include the ability to discuss both business and recruitment matters with members and customers, whilst maintaining the best possible relationships
  • The ability to work calmly under pressure and establish ways to level peaks and troughs of activity
  • Good IT and report writing skills
  • Willingness to travel around the UK regularly as required
