Procurement Administrator

Do you have Procurement experience and excellent administration and organisational skills?

If so, then we may have a position for you!

We are looking for a Procurement Administrator to join our Independent Client providing Medical Services at their site in Theale, Berkshire.

Responsibilities

  • Managing daily service parts orders, and order related requests and queries
  • Raising service contract purchase orders as tasked by the Senior Buyer
  • Working alongside the wider team to build key supplier relationships and deliver against measurable KPIs for the business
  • Assisting in project working, coordination and data management
  • Any other duties as required

The Procurement Administrator will have delegated responsibility for:

  • Releasing pre-authorised POs to suppliers
  • Control / mandate material flow in support of priority orders

Key Accountabilities

  • Ensuring service parts are procured in line with requirements from engineering operations
  • Assisting with the management of Service contract records
  • Timely progression of POs
  • Accuracy of service contract records

Skills

  • Proven ability to work successfully in a fast-paced multi-disciplinary environment                   
  • Experience gained within a procurement environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Organised with an attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and operating a database
  • CIPS qualified or working towards is desirable

Salary and Benefits

  • Up to £24,000
  • Royal London Pension Scheme – 3% EE contribution and 5% ER contribution
  • Death In Service Scheme after 6-month probation – 4 times salary

Hours are Monday – Friday 9am – 5.30 pm with hybrid working after probation.
