Minor Repair Technician
Are you experienced with working on an assembly line carrying out diagnostics and repairs on components? If so, we have an excellent opportunity with our client based in Southend as a Minor Repair Technician.
Key Responsibilities
- Assessment, Partial dis-assembly, repair, and function testing of a range of products to the required quality standards
- Carrying out stages of the repair process within required time limits to achieve consistently high quality whilst maintaining the required level of productivity.
- Reading, understanding and adherence to standard operating procedures, repair manuals, method sheets and other documented processes or
- Inspection & quality checks throughout and on completion of the repair process by means of visual assessment and the use of associated test
- The correct application and use of precision hand tools, repair apparatus, test equipment, adhesives, and chemicals
- Administrative duties relating to the repair process
- Provide service report updates to Workshop support functions
- Gain knowledge and competence on additional products/services within the service department.
Ideal Candidate
Fine hand skills with good mechanical aptitude
- Ability to follow method sheets
- Good interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Previous experience of minor repair on flexible endoscopes
- Fine hand skills with good mechanical aptitude
Benefits
Salary - £25,000 Plus bonus and Benefits
37.5 per week
- DIS Scheme after 6 months – 4 times salary
