Membership Administrator

The Client:

Due to expansion and growth, our client is looking for an experienced Membership Administrator to join their small friendly team in Southend-on-Sea.  You will be based onsite working in a relaxed atmosphere within their modern, well-equipped offices in Central Southend.

The Role:

You will play an integral role within the membership journey, creating and maintaining membership information on their database and updating profiles on their website.  A high-quality attention to detail is integral to ensuring that their membership information is kept up to date. 

You will provide reporting data for a monthly board pack and using Visio software you will create, and update process flows which are communicated to their volunteer boards who are located across the UK, Ireland and further afield.

Excellent communication and customer service skills are required as liaising with their volunteers and members is also a key element of the role and you will also help out with registration quarterly events held in London.

As a small and busy office, you will be expected to chip in and help in other areas where needed so a flexible attitude and the ability to juggle priorities is a must.

 

Skills required:

  • A high level of proficiency in written English.
  • Excellent organisation and time management.
  • Outstanding communication skills.
  • A strong level of IT literacy, particularly with MS Office, Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • An eye for detail and a penchant for processes

Role:      Full-time, Permanent Position

Hours:   Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm

Salary: Paying up to £24,000 per annum
