Marketing Communications Specialist

upto £32,000 per annum plus bens

Are you experienced in marketing and looking for a new full time permanent opportunity?

If so, we have an exciting new opportunity with our successful client based in Theale, Berkshire.

Ideal Candidate

  • Degree or equivalent in Marketing or Public Relations
  • A Levels in English Literature, English Language, or a subject with significant written content
  • Event Management experience
  • Marketing Management and Co-ordination experience
  • Highly organised and self-motivated
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to work successfully in a multi-disciplinary and often virtual environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills,
  • Proficient – expert in MS office tools

Responsibilities

  • Management and co-ordination of all marketing deliverables. Management and co-ordination of all marketing events.
  • Management of outsourced agencies and other third-party suppliers including but not limited to printers, photographers, PR consultants.
  • Management and co-ordination of the company website content in collaboration with our Client, including the writing of high-quality copy for news announcements and press releases.
  • Management and co-ordination of campaigns from conception, design, delivery and follow up sales visits.
  • Responsible for internal marketing and communications.
  • Contribute to the production of content to the website & social media channels. To ensure quality system processes and procedures are followed.
  • System administration of the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
  • Responsible for the annual marketing budget with delegated sign-off limit

Accountabilities

Management and co-ordination of all marketing deliverables including new product launches, existing product campaigns, and sales collateral, including but not limited to:

Website and social media content updates, Video production

Email shots and direct mail, Online banners, and digital media placement (e.g., HSJ)

Print adverts and print media placement (e.g., RADmag)

Corporate brochures and product flyers, Customer case studies

Management and co-ordination of marketing events (both as exhibitors and attendees)

Performance Indicators

  • Successful delivery of our clients annual marketing delivery plan
  • Production of high-quality copy to be used in news announcements and press releases
  • Positive PR stories appear regularly in the targeted trade journals and other media
  • New lead generation increases
  • All publicity/communications delivered accurately and in a timely manner
  • Stronger relationships are built with PR and media contacts
  • All sales and promotional tools/materials are up-to-date and look professional Exhibitions and events are executed to a high level
  • Development of our Clients internal marketing and PR capacity
