You will be already in a project-based implementation or 2nd line support role with a high level of software knowledge and skills in system implementation and migration environment.

Salary on offer is in the region of £29,000 with 28 days holiday per year, pension, healthcare, free parking, and ad-hoc weekend overtime.

You will be a pragmatic and forward-thinking individual who takes ownership and responsibility in everything you do, a real team player! You will also be well presented with great communication skills and able to translate technical jargon into plain English for your clients.

More importantly you will also have a broad technical understanding of Windows Server, Office 365, firewalls and networks with a can-do attitude to work and learning.

Day to day duties will be the project-based implementation and maintenance of:

  • Client Servers
  • PCs & Laptops
  • Firewalls
  • VoIP Systems
  • Regular Data Migrations
  • Network and Cyber Security audits.

Post-implementation support will require you to hand-hold clients through the early stages of configuration, ironing out teething issues with a hands-on approach in a real-time operational environment.

In all cases you will be consulting with clients and internal teams to ensure successful platform onboarding and you will be technically able to assist with application configurations to facilitate unique implementations with a 'customer first' approach.

Reporting directly to the MD in a smaller team environment will also remove the 'red-tape' allowing you to react quickly, offering a better outcome for the customer.  


Skills and experience needed for this role:

  • Exceptional client facing/customer service using remote tools and face to face
  • A Software or Support background with a wide range of experience using a variety of platforms including Microsoft applications, MAC, Mobile, VoIP. Web and Server Tech
  • An open-minded attitude to learning
  • Excellent timekeeping and attention to detail
  • Someone who takes ownership and responsibility for their work with high levels of integrity and honesty
  • Someone who can foresee potential issues and then goes out of their way to prevent them happening
  • Someone who naturally cares about getting the best outcome for all parties
  • Clean driving licence and own transport
