We have immediate job opportunities with an established and leading business within their sector for Field Service Operatives based from their Purfleet, Essex, depot.

 

The Pay/Benefits:

 

  • Competitive starting salary £20,000 (plus overtime/bonuses OTE £25k-£30k)
  • Overtime paid for work/travel outside of normal Mon-Fri hours (40 hours pw)

The Role:

 

  • You will be working within a service team carrying out Telecoms equipment removal activities on clients’ sites and other locations, abiding by site safety rules
  • Dismantling and preparation of telecoms equipment, and removal of various fixings
  • Physical/manual work.  Carrying and moving of equipment, cable recovery and loading on to racks and trucks
  • May require working in confined spaces or where high access is required on occasion
  • Share in the driving of company vehicles (if appropriately qualified)

 

The Candidate:

 

  • Must be physically fit and accustomed to physical manual work, as the role requires lifting and carrying of equipment.
  • Must be customer-focused, polite, conscientious and a team-player as will be working on client and remote sites with team colleagues.
  • Must be flexible regarding working hours and willing to work away from home during the week (e.g. early starts, paid overnights if required for specific job).
  • Ideally H&S trained with experience of working in potentially hazardous environments (e.g. construction).
  • Practical skill set, using hand tools, electrical tools with experience of working in a field-based role preferred, (ideally with Telecoms experience but not essential).
  • UK Driver with transport able to travel to Purfleet depot.
