Export Sales Coordinator upto £30, 000

12 Month FTC, Shoebury, Essex

Monday – Friday 37.5 hrs per week working on site and remotely.

 

The Role

               

Working for a Global Manufacturer as part of a small but busy Customer Service team in Sales, you will be responsible for supporting various sales teams with international sales.  The Export Sales Coordinator maintains strong relationships with the existing international customer base whilst actively supporting new sales opportunities. 

Responsible for managing the administration process from order receipt, through dispatch and shipping and delivery to the end customers.

 

Duties

  • Prepare Quotations & Pricing / Product Proposals
  • Support the preparation and coordination of tender responses
  • Receive, process and manage orders (capital, consumable and chemistry) on Sage
  • Coordinate shipping to worldwide customers ensuring all supporting paperwork is completed correctly
  • Liaise with Service Support Team where required to ensure effective international installations occur
  • Schedule collections with various freight forwarders and prepare shipping documentation as necessary to comply with each country’s individual requirements.
  • Create, assemble and present applicable export documentation required per country in accordance with export laws and regulations
  • Communicate with the Chamber of Commerce to apply for attested documents as per shipping requirements of products
  • Stay abreast of each country’s requirements in relation to exporting goods to them successfully

 

Qualifications and Experience

 

  • Knowledge of word, excel and email systems (Outlook) and databases
  • GSCE (A-C level or equivalent) in English Language and Mathematics
  • Previous experience of working in an office
  • Excellent customer service experience and skills 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong experience of export documentation and logistics is a requirement
  • Knowledge of Sage ERP an advantage
  • A self-starter, with a positive ‘can-do’ attitude and tenacious approach towards resolving issues
  • Ability to work well under pressure and prioritise workload to manage conflicting priorities
