Executive Search Researcher

We have a rare and exciting opportunity working with our client based in Leigh as an “Executive Search Researcher”.

The role

Identifying and approaching select candidates as well as supporting the generation and management of candidates on search assignments and with wider projects such as market mapping.

Responsibilities

Display a flexible attitude and a willingness to work to tight deadlines in order to provide a fast, efficient and timely service within the Recruitment division to allotted Recruitment Consultants (RCs)

Identify and deliver suitable candidates by:

  • Searching the internal database (and external Third-Party data bases where available and if merited)
  • Using online mediums to market map for appropriate organisations
  • Using online mediums to market map for appropriate candidates
  • Assessing all applications received via the company website and
  • Compiling long and short lists of suitable people using Excel
  • sourcing candidates via telephone and face to face contact with industry sources

Adhere to an agreed personal Quarterly Business Plan (QBP) to ensure that division and company business plans and objectives are met.

Main Duties and Responsibilities/Accountabilities

Candidate Generation & Attraction

  • In conjunction with RCs work to identify appropriate target firms and construct the search strategy to be undertaken
  • Utilising their in-house CRM system, LinkedIn, external databases, social media, sourcing calls and the Internet to generate suitable candidates and market intelligence for each assignment. Continually expanding, updating and improving the existing candidate pool
  • Update and maintain candidate information on the internal database and ensure all records are kept in line with all legislative requirements including GDPR
  • When appropriate, actively ‘head-hunt’ relevant candidates, conducting initial telephone interviews with interested candidates
  • When appropriate, assess and qualify candidates with the right skills and ensure they are fit for interview by the RC
  • Providing feedback to RCs with details of candidates who are interested, outlining their relevant experience and motivations
  • Prepare candidate summaries or profiles and format candidate CVs upon request

Requirement Management

  • Where appropriate, attending client briefings and contributing to the search strategy
  • Prepare weekly client progress reports, illustrating the assignment landscape and adapting/amending as the assignment develops
  • Provide / collate feedback on market reaction to an assignment, the perception of the client and any other pertinent information gained
  • Adhere to best practice, ensuring all acquired candidate information is accurately maintained

Advertising/Marketing/Sales Activities

  • Attend industry networking, marketing, and events to meet with potential candidates and obtain candidate referrals, client information and sales leads
  • Using company guidelines and templates, set up and maintain social media channels to attract candidates and promote the brand
  • Offer and subscribe candidates to Company newsletter

What is the package?

  • Up to £35,000 PA plus commissions up to £45 K OTE
  • Monday to Friday 9am – 5.30pm 37.5 hours per week 
  • Holiday entitlement is 25 days plus bank hols
  • Hybrid working is offered after 3 months’ probation
