A specialist industry training and awarding organisation based in the North Essex/Cambridge area, is seeking a confident and experienced administrator for a current Examinations Controller job opportunity.  This is key role to ensure that the organisation’s industry recognised qualifications are consistently administered to the highest professional standards across the UK.  The company are undergoing an exciting time of growth as they expand their customer base and develop their online assessment platform.

 

What this role offers:

 

  • Salary in the £20,000 to £24,000 range, dependent on experience
  • 35 hour working week (Mon-Fri)

The Examinations Controller role:

 

The role will include the following responsibilities -

  • Liaise with exam boards to ensure the production, testing and checking of suitably formatted exam papers
  • Arranging exam dates and organising centres for the exams to take place.
  • Managing the distribution of administration packs including, exam papers & relevant documentation
  • Updating databases and spreadsheets with candidate and associated information
  • Process e-logbook and e-portfolio access requirements and resolve queries on access or content
  • Ensuring tutors and centres have necessary log-ins and accesses
  • Inputting results and issuing exam results including certification
  • Producing various reports on exam results and statistics
  • Undertake general administrative/office tasks

Is this you?

 

In order to be considered for the role you will satisfy the following:

  • Proven administrative experience and skills
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise workloads
  • Confident and professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet very strict daily deadlines
  • Capable of working effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong computer literacy to include use of Word, Excel, Outlook (for email) and accurate typing/data entry skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, a friendly manner and a good sense of humour would be highly beneficial to be successful in the role
  • Able and willing to work permanently in the North Essex area, close to Cambridge.
