Job Description

Import Administrator - Witham

We are looking for an experienced Import Administrator for our client based in Witham.

As the import Administrator, your role will be to assist with the day to day running of the Import  Department.

This will include:

•    Entering jobs and manifests onto the FMS system

•    Supplying the warehouse at Witham and all other depots with information required to enable the prompt and efficient off-loading of trailers.

•    Liaising with Agents and customers alike to ascertain  their needs and requirements in order to ensure all deliveries are completed in a timely fashion.

•    Daily collating of necessary and required information  from Hauliers of arrival/departure times.

•    Daily calculation of prices and costs for certain manifests.

•    Daily up-dating of spreadsheets with relevant information.


Although core working hours are 9.00.a.m. to 5.30.p.m. Monday – Friday with not more than one  hour for lunch (unpaid), a flexible approach to working hours is essential due to the nature and needs of the Business.
