Data Analyst

Are you data driven and have excellent excel and analysis skills?

If so, we have an exciting opportunity with our client based in Southend as a Data Analyst on a fixed term contract until May 2023.

Responsibilities

  • Self-motivated, prioritise/organisation, attention to detail
  • Communication internal teams, Operational Managers, Directors)
  • Ownership of regular operational KPI reporting, data requests, ad hoc requests
  • Turn raw data into information and insight
  • IT skills - Experience of Power BI, Advanced Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Data manipulation/combining different sources/ data processing
  • Enable data driven decision making, support day to day operations
  • High quality, timely, accurate reporting, and analysis
  • Collect and organise data to provide business insight.
  • Apply tools and techniques for data analysis and data visualisation
  • Manage, clean, aggregate data
  • Comply with the Health & Safety policies, and work to maintain a high standard of customer service and protect the safety and health of you, your colleagues, the customers, and members of the public.
  • Promptly raise any concerns regarding potential violations of the policies.

 

Ideal Candidate

In addition to excellent written and verbal communication skills, being able to multitask and prioritise you will need to have advanced knowledge of Excel and be able to carry out the following:-  

  • VLOOKUP, index, match, offset, if, DATEDIF, date/time/text formulae
  • Conditional formatting
  • Sorting, filtering
  • Charts
  • Pivot Tables, charts, slicers, timelines
  • Basic VBA, macros

 

£30,000 per annum - £15.38 Per hour plus bens

37.5 hours per week Monday – Friday
