Customer Support Administrator (12 Months)

Are you an experienced Administrator who is available for a 12 month FTC? If so, we have an exciting opportunity as a Customer Support Administrator with our client in based in Southend.  You will be maintaining a high level of customer service within the company, help support the team in daily admin tasks, processing of customer purchase orders as well as working closely with the sales support teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Processing customer sales orders onto SAGE.
  • Liaise with customers regarding their orders.  If a query arises at the time of processing, to advise them of any changes needed to process the order successfully.
  • To contact external courier/shipping companies for customers to arrange the collection of orders.
  • To liaise with the sales support team regarding any initial queries with a customer order.
  • Supporting the sales support team with incoming calls and answering general enquiries
  • To manage customer’s standing orders to ensure successful delivery.
  • Dealing with customer complaints

Ideal Candidate:

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel and email systems.     
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • GSCE in English Language and Mathematics
  • Ability to work well under pressure and prioritise workload to achieve objectives
  • Confident and professional telephone manner
  • Demonstrate excellent organisational and administrative skills
  • Ability to work well towards deadlines and team objectives.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrate a sense of urgency when required.
  • Able to motivate themselves as well as working well within a team environment.
  • With a positive ‘can do’ attitude you will be tenacious in the pursuit of business and team goals, always looking to provide the best service provided by our team

Hours: Monday to Friday 8am-5:30pm

Rate: £10.25 per hour
