This exciting opportunity carries the responsibility to develop a suite of products, service and advice based on the developing needs of a business from start up to exit. The idea is to provide help and support at every level of the business life cycle with a range of products that have been meticulously analysed and appraised to offer a solution for any given challenge.  

As the Client Solutions Manager, you will be involved from the ground up in creating the solutions for the members. The role supports an industry sector that contributes nearly £40 billion per annum to the UK economy and supports its members with a comprehensive range of services from training to legal support.

The role of the Client Solutions Manager is a new role that is supported by a management team and an experienced team of directors with a wealth of knowledge in a people-oriented industry that is intrinsic to sustainable businesses growth across the UK.

Main Purpose of the role and Key Tasks

  • Collate and analyse member feedback required to identify changing member business needs
  • Deliver product development ideas to meet the business needs of members across all stages of a business lifecycle
  • Deliver an ongoing product development plan aligned to the purpose of the organisation, maximising customer service and internal efficiency. This plan should include but not be limited to, product relevance and member need gap analysis
  • The role requires close working relationships with departments across the different departments of the organisation, and external industry representatives or suppliers, to ensure that the product and services range remains up to date and fit for purpose
  • To provide detailed and accurate management information and reports on progress to the Customer Services Director
  • To be part of the management team that drives customer service for its members



The successful candidate will have:

  • A sound understanding of business and the associated needs throughout its Lifecycle
  • you will have worked as an external agent to business either as an employee of a management consulting firm or as an independent consultant
  • A strong track record within Product Development with the ability to provide a data driven strategy to contribute development of the product suite
  • Previous experience with end to end product management
  • Relevant experience using analytical tools to interpret management information and member feedback and establish a clear path to meeting member needs
  • Innovation is at the heart of this role. This will include the concept, product design and delivery
  • Ability to demonstrate taking a performance improvement idea from concept through to delivery
  • A track history of strong project management
  • The ability to communicate new and complex ideas to all levels from front line to teams to the board
  • The ability to confidently liaise with third party service/product providers and manage the associated contracts ensuring agreed terms are met
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. This should include the ability to discuss all business matters with members and customers, whilst maintaining mutually beneficial relationships
  • Excellent IT skills with a demonstrable ability of report writing skills
  • A team player with a passion for helping others
