One to One are currently representing a prestigious membership organisation for the hire of a Business Development Executive to join their London team. This is an interim role, covering maternity leave and is expected to terminate March 2023. This role will be based in London offices 2 days per week and home-working three days per week.
Role responsibilities:
To work on specific outbound, pro-active sales projects/campaigns as directed by the Sales Director in order to meet targets for:
Member engagement/ retention (check-In calls)
Member acquisition (lead qualification/ meeting setting)
Member renewals and sales activity (qualifying leads)
Revenue generation (e.g. strategic events)
To maximise attendance at company strategic events both in person and online through direct sales and lead generation activity
To support the sales department with data gathering/ cleansing as required and add all relevant activity to the CRM system
Reporting progress to Sales Director in an accurate and timely manner and undertaking any other sales related activity as instructed by Sales Director
Knowledge and skills needed to perform this role:
Proven success of working in a similar role as a business development executive or equivalent
Demonstrable ability to execute outbound call projects.
Time management & problem-solving skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills
Demonstrable business awareness and acumen
Evident focus on customer care and satisfaction with all contacts within a customer organisation
Initiative, drive and enthusiasm
Ability to work effectively and efficiently both independently or as part of a team
Aptitude for telephone-based sales activity, including tenacity, persistence and the ability to remain focused and self-motivated
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. This should include the ability to discuss both business and recruitment matters with members and customers, whilst maintaining the best possible relationships
The ability to work calmly under pressure and establish ways to level peaks and troughs of activity
